토론토 강림교회 소개 및 비전

토론토 강림교회는 토론토에 세워진 지 29년이 된 감리교회의 장자교회로서, 훈련된 평신도들이 겸손과 섬김으로 함께 세워가는 교회입니다.

토론토 강림교회는 십자가의 구원과 성령의 거룩한 역사 안에서 하나님의 일하심을 체험하며 예배하는 공동체입니다.

Toronto Gangrim Methodist Church is the pioneer (firstborn) Korean Methodist church established in Toronto 29 years ago, where trained lay leaders serve together with humility and dedication.

Toronto Gangrim Methodist Church is a worshiping community that experiences the works of God through the salvation of the cross and the holy ministry of the Holy Spirit.

"오신 예수님을 우리 안에! 오실 예수님을 세상에!" (빌 2:13)

"Jesus who came, into our hearts! Jesus who will return, into the world!" (Phil. 2:13)

우리는 이 말씀 위에서, 예수 그리스도의 십자가 구원을 통해 부어주신 하나님의 사랑과 복음을 이웃과 이민사회, 그리고 지역사회와 나누는 교회입니다.

Rooted in this Word, we share the love of God and the grace of redemption given through Jesus Christ's sacrifice on the cross with our neighbors, the immigrant community, and the local society.

토론토 강림교회는 다음과 같은 비전을 품고 교회를 세워갑니다.

1. 하나님의 임재 안에서 드려지는 예배

• 1부 예배: 전통 예전 중심의 경건한 예배로 하나님께 나아갑니다.

• 2부 예배: 뜨거운 찬양과 기도가 어우러진 블렌디드 예배(Blended Service)로 하나님께 나아갑니다.

2. 소그룹 (속회 및 선교회)

'교회 안의 작은 교회'인 속회와 선교회는 삶과 말씀, 기도를 나누는 교제의 장이자 모든 섬김과 봉사의 든든한 기반입니다.

성숙하고 건강한 신앙생활을 위해서는 소그룹 공동체 참여가 필수적입니다.

소그룹 모임을 통해 섬기는 자의 기쁨과 보람, 그리고 아름다운 신앙의 성장을 함께 누려가길 바랍니다.

3. 교육

• 요람에서 무덤까지: 신앙 교육은 전 생애에 걸쳐 교회 안에서 지속되어야 합니다.

• 다음 세대 교육: 만 2세 미만의 영아부부터 아동부, 중고등부, 청년부에 이르기까지 부모와 담당 교역자의 인도 아래 건강한 믿음의 세대로 자라납니다.

• 성인 교육: 교육은 성인에게도 이어져야 합니다. 체계적으로 훈련된 신앙인만이 그리스도께서 맡기신 사명을 온전히 감당할 수 있습니다.

• 1st Service: A reverent, liturgical service following traditional liturgy.

• 2nd Service: A blended service combining passionate praise and prayer.

2. Small Groups (Class Meetings & Mission Fellowships)

As "churches within the church," our small groups share life, Scripture, and prayer—forming the cornerstone of fellowship, ministry, and service.

Small group participation fosters spiritual maturity and allows believers to experience the joy of Christian service.

3. Lifelong Christian Education ("From Cradle to Grave")

• Next Generation: From infants under age two to children, youth, and young adults, dedicated pastoral staff nurture each generation into a healthy, Christ-centered faith.

• Adult Discipleship: Ongoing biblical training equips adult believers to faithfully carry out Christ's calling.
